My dog loves her treadmill

You might find this very cute! My dog loves to be on the treadmill. We bought the treadmill just for her. It took about 2 weeks to train her. After that, she has no problem working out on the treadmill and seems to really enjoy it. What a dog!

  2. Thanks for visiting my blog. Glad you like the video :). At first, KT was very scared and didn't want to get on the treadmill but we figured she is a very smart dog, loves to be praised and always do anything for treats. So we used treats as a reward when training her.

On the first session of the training, we introduced her to the treadmill by calling her to step on it while we were standing at the opposite site (in front of the treadmill). After she was completely on the treadmill, she got her treats. Then, we repeated the session for 3 days or so. After that, we turned the treadmill on for a few seconds and gave her treats. Repeated the session for a few days until she started to get used to the sound of the machine. We always gave her treats praised her while she was running to encourage her.

Later on, she was able to run longer and needed less treats. Took us about 2 weeks or so for her to turn pro...hahaha.
